Rules we run the business by

How we do business, who we do it with, and when we walk away.

These are the rules we work by, including the ones that cost us money.

1. Not every dollar is worth earning

We turn down work we could not defend afterwards. If we are asked to mislead anyone, whether a provider, your colleagues, or your leadership, we walk away.

2. People before technology

Technology exists for the people who use it. If a decision saves money by making work worse for the people who do it, we say so. The same respect goes to the people already serving you: we work with your IT team and your providers, never around them.

3. No sugarcoating

You hear what we actually think, including “do nothing,” “you do not need us,” and “we don’t know.” When a question goes beyond our expertise, we bring in an engineer who knows.

4. Independence

We represent you, not any single provider. We recommend only what we would choose in your place.

5. Transparency and confidentiality

You see every option we looked at and the reasoning behind each. What you share with us stays with us, and goes to providers only with your knowledge.

6. The decision is always yours

We advise. You decide, on your own timeline, with no pressure and no manufactured deadlines.

7. We stay after the signature

Our responsibility does not end when the contract is signed. We remain the people you call.

We work with organizations that want to work this way. If that is not you, we are probably not the right fit, and we will say so early.

What we ask in return

  • An honest picture of your situation, in as much detail as you are ready to share.
  • Access to the people who make and approve the decision.
  • A direct word when you disagree with us. We would rather discuss it openly than guess.

If this is how you want to work, we should talk.
